There, he performed various molecular work from cloning and fermentation scale-up, to DNA sequencing, mutation analysis, and human gene expression analysis. He is a co-author on a U.S. patent #20110158944, which describes a novel correlation between a mutation specific to the BRAF gene, and the sensitivity of specific cancer cells with the said mutation to an ERK1 or ERK2 or MEK inhibitor. He also has 10 scientific publications. Currently Marc teaches biology at a high school and college level at Bard High School Early College. Marc is the father of two children: a 12-year old daughter, and an 8-year old son. He enjoys reading, pitching baseballs, and playing his drums in his spare time.

Her concern for the environment has led to the writing of dozens of op-ed pieces, letters to the editor, web site articles, and legal briefs. Most of all, though, she enjoys essay and research writing, which is what she presently teaches to students.
Cherie has done work toward the doctorate at Rutgers University, and holds three technical certifications from NJ Institute of Technology. Spare time is spent with her three cats, cooking vegetarian food, reading, and gardening organically.
Dave, a master tutor, graduated from Rutgers with a B.A. in history and religion. He tutors in k-12 social studies and history, including all of the pertinent advanced placement tests (US/world/European history, macroeconomics, human geography, etc). He also tutors the critical reading and writing sections of the SAT, and the reading and English sections of the ACT.
