Bonnie Sue, a master of multi-sensory learning, has designed and implemented new programs - in a private school setting, small public schools and for a large district. In each of the schools, the programs she developed were successful, allowing the students to demonstrate considerable progress academically and socially. She served as a Literacy Program Trainer and provided consultation/support for classroom teachers. While working for one public school, Bonnie Sue developed and implemented a literacy program in a Language Arts Resource Room setting. The students in these classes were held to high standards, with an expectation of growth and measurable achievement. She designed a targeted, multi-sensory program that included an Orton-Gillingham Language Circle curriculum approach, computer-based instruction and a vocabulary program integrating music, reading comprehension and writing connections. The students in her classes ranged in ability; struggling readers/writers, students at grade-level and students reading at an advanced level.

As a special education teacher at a private school, Bonnie Sue designed curriculum that provided all student populations with extensive interaction and opportunities for growth and communication. The program was based on a multi-sensory approach; she included music, reading buddies, small group work, hands-on life skills practice and Reading Therapy dogs.

Bonnie Sue has also taught at the college level as an adjunct professor. In order to provide a quality special education component for both undergraduate and graduate students, she needed to be in touch with the latest research. She taught both in-person classes and worked with a blended, online format.

In her spare time, Bonnie Sue enjoys gardening (flowers, herbs and vegetables) reading, playing the piano and enjoying her many critters.

Cherie K, a master tutor, holds an M.A. from Montclair State University. She is a lover of the English language who enjoys passing her enthusiasm for writing to students through creative learning techniques. Recently, for example, she helped her students remember grammar, punctuation, and spelling rules through mnemonics, a technique that research says doubles recall. Two books she is currently exploring are: A Creative Approach to Teaching Grammar (Peter Burrows) and Teach Like a Pirate (Dave Burgess).
She has had a varied career in writing: As a copywriter, she has written TV, radio, and print ads for such companies as McDonald’s, Roche Pharmaceuticals, Red Lobster Inns, and the Olive Gardens. As a marketing communications director, she has written speeches for the CEOs of some of America’s most visible companies. Her concern for the environment has led to the writing of dozens of op-ed pieces, letters to the editor, web site articles, and legal briefs. Most of all, though, she enjoys essay and research writing, which is what she presently teaches to students.
Cherie has done work toward the doctorate at Rutgers University, and holds three technical certifications from NJ Institute of Technology. Spare time is spent with her three cats, cooking vegetarian food, reading, and gardening organically.

Diana, a master tutor, graduated from Union County College with an A.S. of chemistry with honors. Additionally, she earned a CRLA tutor diploma for her work with the students in the college. While tutoring, she helped students in chemistry, biology and mathematics. Besides tutoring, she has developed classroom experience due to the fact that one of her special projects at Union County College was to teach supplemental sections for chemistry lab. Diana also assisted students while performing their experiments. Moreover, she was an instructor for the structured study sessions in the college where every week she was assigned a chemistry chapter, and had to instruct the students. Diana has an extreme passion for the sciences and loves to share her passion with her students. In May of 2017, she completed her bachelor's of biochemistry and molecular biology at Drew University. Currently, she is at Fairleigh Dickinson School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences to pursue her doctorate degree in Pharmacy and master's degree in Health Informatics.
