We carefully hand pick and screen our tutors to make sure they meet our highest standards.

Every tutor on our team is put through a detailed screening process that includes:

• In-person interview by our Educational Director who is a certified teacher with a Master's in Education
• In-person demo lesson to assess delivery, knowledge and personality
• Triple Reference Check
• Background Check
• Verification of teaching credentials -certificate(s) and degree(s)
• Academic Testing to prove tutor proficiency in content areas

Rest assured that when choosing Teacher Tutors you will be matched with a highly qualified tutor that we have built a relationship with. Our matching process requires us to get to know everything about our tutors to properly serve you.

How do background checks work?

Prior to on-boarding a new tutor, Verity Screening will run a background check covering the following:

• Nationwide Sex Offender
• County Criminal
• Nationwide Criminal Search
• SSN Trace / Past Address History
