Yes. Every tutor on our site undergoes a thorough screening process by a member of our team. Tutors are required to teach demo lessons and all undergo academic testing to ensure their academic proficiency. Additionally, we run a thorough background check on all of our tutors annually. We take pride in getting to know each and every one of our tutors on a personal basis. We’re not a national chain and don’t aspire to become one. As such, our clients come first and we pride ourselves in being available when you need us.
Lesson prices vary depending on the level and quantity of sessions. Our rates are competitive and our localized service area allows our Education Director to match you on a one to one basis.
Lessons take place in students’ homes, libraries and coffee shops. You can determine your preferred lesson location when speaking with our Director.
If you are not completely satisfied with your first lesson, we will gladly find you another tutor or refund your lesson. Contact us within 24 hours after your initial lesson. We strive for 100% client satisfaction.
Lessons are booked by first contacting Teacher Tutors (973) 31- STUDY. We’re standing by to help you manage your tutoring schedule. Our booking systems will send you reminders prior to each session and allow you to make changes to your upcoming schedule as you go.
Yes. We require payment prior to your first session. All credits are fully refundable at any time.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.
