Stephen, a master educator, is a passionate and accomplished teacher who brings both creativity and experience to his work with students. He earned his B.A. in Speech Communications with a minor in Journalism from Rider University, graduating Cum Laude, and later completed a Post‑Baccalaureate Degree in Early Elementary Education (K–6) from William Paterson University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Before entering education, Stephen spent over 12 years in the television production and broadcasting industry, working with networks such as NBC, ESPN, NHL Productions, and American Desi Network. Since transitioning into teaching in 2008, he has served in a variety of roles, including eight years as a Head Classroom Teacher and several years as a paraprofessional, providing individualized and small‑group instruction. He also gained valuable experience in an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program, supporting students with severe autism, an experience that deepened his commitment to inclusive, supportive learning environments. With over 15 years in education, Stephen is dedicated to helping students build confidence, develop essential skills, and reach their full potential both in and out of the classroom.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
