Richard, a master educator, earned his B.A. in Economics and Geography from Dartmouth College in 2023 and has spent the past three years honing his skills as a tutor and mentor. He specializes in ACT and SAT preparation, high school mathematics, AP Human Geography, and college admissions counseling, guiding students to excel in both standardized testing and classroom performance. Currently teaching AP Human Geography, Richard also provides individualized tutoring in English, reading, and mathematics, adapting his teaching style to meet the needs of students from diverse academic and cultural backgrounds. In addition to private tutoring, he partners with the New York Department of Education to support underprivileged students in Brooklyn, reflecting his deep commitment to educational equity and opportunity. Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
