Ivette, an expert tutor, holds a B.A. from William Paterson University and is currently pursuing her M.S. in Applied Behavior Analysis. She brings over eight years of experience in special education, working with learners from preschool through middle school, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and related diagnoses, and adapts her teaching strategies to meet each student's developmental needs. Grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Ivette creates structured, supportive, and engaging learning environments that foster social, academic, and daily living skills, helping every child build confidence, independence, and reach their fullest potential. She conducts sessions at the Teacher Tutors Center in Livingston, NJ, working with elementary and middle school students in Early Math starting at the Pre-K level, Elementary Math, and ELA.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
