Mountainside operates a small K-8 district with two schools: Beechwood School for preschool through grade 2 and Deerfield School for grades 3 to 8. For high school, Mountainside students cross into neighboring Berkeley Heights to attend Governor Livingston High School under a send-receive arrangement that dates to the school's opening in 1960. Our tutors work with Mountainside students across that full arc, from early reading at Beechwood through AP courses and SAT prep in the high school years.
