Debbie, a Master Educator and the Director/Founder of Teacher Tutors, graduated with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Education from NYU. She is dual certified and licensed in NJ & NY. At the center, Debbie provides top notch private instruction in an engaging way with a multi-sensory approach. Her specialty is working with children in pre-k up through grade 5. She excels when educating younger learners and children who are easily distracted and have ADHD. Debbie is dedicated to providing exceptional supplemental education to families by connecting students with top-tier educators. She deeply cares and does her best to ensure that students receive the personalized support they need to thrive academically. Her journey began in the classroom, where she taught in NYC & NJ public schools. She has worked in both urban and suburban settings. In 2010, she founded Teacher Tutors, LLC, a New Jersey-based tutoring company committed to matching families with outstanding educators across all subjects and grade levels. Beyond academics, Teacher Tutors focuses on building confidence and strengthening skills. As an advocate for education equity, she is proud that Teacher Tutors gives back to the community in multiple ways, donating a portion of our proceeds to NJ SEEDS, which supports low-income students on their path to higher education. Additionally, Teacher Tutors support students academically at a local woman's shelter. Debbie is also a proud member of the Rotary Club of Livingston. She works with the Rotary to support academic initiatives locally and globally. Her mission is simple: empower students, support families, and make quality education accessible. In her spare time, she enjoys animal rescue and fostering.
