Gloria, a master educator, holds an MS in Education, a certification in special education and Orton-Gillingham certified. She works as a classroom teacher and travels directly to families across Bergen County, NJ to tutor elementary-age students in reading comprehension, language arts, creative writing, and early and elementary math. Gloria has hands-on experience working with children who have learning disabilities, ADHD, ADD, ASD, and neurodevelopmental disorders. She takes time to understand how each child processes information, then shapes her lessons around that child's particular needs. Rather than following a one-size approach, she builds sessions that are structured, patient, and specific, so students practice the right skills in the right way. Over time, that consistency tends to produce something simple and real: a child who feels steadier, works more independently, and approaches schoolwork with less hesitation.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
