John, a master educator, brings over 12 years of teaching expertise across multiple subjects, including math, science, English, and social studies. A proud graduate of Marist College with a B.A. in History and Education, he also holds a Master’s degree in Special Education from Kean University. Throughout his career, John has supported both general education and special education students in middle and high school settings, adapting his methods to meet the unique needs of every learner. His approach is rooted in connection and trust, empowering students through meaningful relationships and cultivating a supportive environment where they feel confident and motivated. As a tutor and writing coach, John is passionate about helping students reach their full potential and take ownership of their academic success. Driven by a genuine desire to see his students thrive, he is committed to making a lasting, positive impact on every academic journey. Outside of teaching, John enjoys spending quality time with his family and reading non‑fiction books, especially those about history.

Teacher Tutors offers talented teachers and tutors that fit into two different qualification tiers; Master Educators and Expert Tutors. Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Assistant Director reviews all session feedback to track the progress of each individual student to ensure that all the students are progressing toward their educational goals.

Teacher Tutors is the easiest way to find a classroom teacher or a seasoned tutor to come to your home to tutor. We have tutors that can assist with all grade levels and subjects. Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
