Susan, a master educator, holds a B.S. in Elementary Education, a Master's in Special Education, and an ESL certification. She currently works as an ESL teacher and brings that same skill and care to in-home tutoring across northern New Jersey. Susan works with elementary students in early and foundational math, reading, reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and grammar, from Pre-K through Pre-Algebra. Her deep background in special education means she is well equipped to support children with learning disabilities, ADHD, ADD, ASD, emotional and behavioral disorders, speech and language impairments, and sensory impairments. She tailors each session to the individual child, meeting students where they are and building steady confidence along the way. Susan travels directly to families in Morris and Essex counties.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.
