Patricia, a master tutors, is an enthusiastic and creative educator with an M.A. in Education from St. Peter’s University, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude, and a B.A. in Biology from SUNY Purchase. With eight years of teaching experience, Patricia has taught and tutored a wide range of Students with many different learning styles and individualized needs. She has taught a variety of subjects, including biology, anatomy and physiology, animal science, chemistry, environmental, , middle school science, pre-algebra, math, laboratory skills, study skills, executive functioning, and college application support. She also brings 10 years of veterinary field experience, including one year of veterinary school at Ross University. Patricia works with students of all learning styles and academic levels, especially students who benefit from extra structure, encouragement, and individualized support. As someone with ADHD and an auditory learning disability, she understands firsthand how challenging things can feel. This experience allows her to connect with students who have learning disabilities, ADHD, and executive-function challenges, in a practical and compassionate way. Her tutoring sessions include clear instruction, guided practice, visual tools, vocabulary support, chunked assignments, study strategies, and targeted interventions to help students feel more confident, organized, and capable. Patricia also works with student students creating interventions, tools, and strategies to improve executive functions and behavioral/mental health issues of work Patricia enjoy painting, gardening, and enjoys spending time with her Persian cat, Romeo, bringing the same energy and care to her personal life as she does to her teaching
