Rebecca, an expert tutor, is pursuing her degree in Neuroscience at Rowan University and brings her daily work as an ABA Therapist directly into her tutoring sessions, giving her a sharp, practiced eye for the specific ways students get stuck and what it takes to move them forward. She travels to families throughout the Essex County, NJ area, working with students from preschool through high school in Early Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Biology, English Language Arts, Literature, Creative Writing, Essay Writing, Reading Comprehension, and Vocabulary. Rebecca has deep experience supporting students with ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional and Behavioral Disorders, and Speech and Language Impairments, and she adjusts her pace and approach to fit each learner rather than expecting students to fit a single method. Teacher Tutors offers talented teachers and tutors that fit into two different qualification tiers; Master Educators and Expert Tutors. Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Whether you’re looking for help with grade school reading comprehension, AP Biology, college level statistics, foreign language or any other academic subject, Teacher Tutors has a tutor standing by.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
