Jonathan Park, an expert tutor, graduated with a Bachelors degree in Economics from Virginia Tech. He has extensive experience teaching students in SAT/ACT Math, any math course up to and including Calculus, Physics, Chemistry, Economics, and English. In college his coursework included Differential Equations, Fluid Dynamics, Aerothermodynamics and Propulsion, and Astromechanics. Jonathan is highly confident tutoring Math and Science subjects up to the college level and frequently works with students preparing for standardized exams such as the ACT, SAT, GRE, and HSPT, helping them achieve measurable score improvements. He enjoys working with motivated learners of all levels, particularly those aiming to build confidence, strengthen problem-solving skills, and reach ambitious academic goals. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys cooking, playing Starcraft 2 and skeet shooting.

Master Educators are our most experienced teachers, with a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience. Expert tutors are talented tutors who are either certified teachers with less than 5 years experience, are experts in their field, or are gifted at teaching certain subject areas.

Our Master tutors are professional experienced teachers with subject matter experience and a minimum of 5 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Our Expert tutors are seasoned tutors with subject matter experience and a minimum of 3 years of teaching/tutoring experience. Each tutor undergoes an extensive internal screening process including a thorough background check, demo lesson and content knowledge quizzes.

Our tutors conduct home visits throughout Northern New Jersey with our office based out of Livingston, New Jersey. When you select Teacher Tutors you can be confident that you are not signing up with an impersonal large chain.
